Do Big Things!
Hello, readers! Last Wednesday I had the privilege to read to several littles at the All About Children New Philadelphia location. It was so much fun! The littles were great and really seemed to enjoy Albert the Donkey and his adventure with Eddie. The kids (and parents!) were polite and friendly. The entire experience was wonderful. Danielle, the owner, was great, and I look forward to working with her and her team again in the future on some projects and more readings!
My next event is coming up this week on Thursday at the Bolivar Learning Center in Bolivar at 5:30 pm. I am looking forward to seeing all the kids and sharing Albert with everyone there!
The time for the Kickstarter campaign is almost over and unfortunately, we did not come close to meeting the goal. So, with that said, at this time, I am going to put the Albert the plushie on the shelf and revisit that idea another time maybe in the far future. I appreciate everyone who showed interest or pledged. It was a good idea but clearly not the right time.
If you have a student who attends the Tusky Valley Primary in Mineral City, I am coming to see them soon! I will be sharing Albert and reading to the students in an assembly on Wednesday, April 24 at 1:30-2:15 pm. Goodies will be sent home with each student present that day along with contact details and how to order the books if so interested.
I just today received word that I will be attending the Canal Town Book Festival on Saturday, October 5 from 10-3pm to sell and sign the kids books! You can check out their website at https://www.canaltownbookfest.org for more information and see who else will be at the event!
Thank you for allowing me to entertain you and your littles with Albert’s adventures and for being on the wonderful albeit crazy ride of life with me through my writing,
Best,
